简介

Katz (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Drexel University) introduces the art and science of designing digital circuits in this text/CD-ROM package for undergraduates. Number systems and Boolean algebra form the basis for instruction on simple, complex, and sequential digital circuits. These topics allow the introduction of a simple but operational digital computer that includes an arithmetic logic unit. The text concludes with an application on the construction of intelligent machines. The CD-ROM contains LATTICE, a cellular automata-based simulation environment. Da Vinci Engineering Press is an imprint of Charles River Media. Annotation 漏2006 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
