简介
(Producer) Teaches the microscopic interpretation of peripheral blood smears. A systematic approach is used for guidance in developing essential skills. One hundred enhanced, high-quality digital images--collected with a state-of-the-art digital microscopy system--of Wright stained peripheral blood smears are presented with overlays of descriptive text. Provides image-based descriptions of normal and abnormal red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, plus image-based descriptions of a variety of hematologic disorders.
