简介
本书是教育部21世纪初高等教育教学改革项目“化工类专业创新人才培养模式、教学内容、教学方法和教学技术改革的研究与实施”研究成果的一部分,内容适应现代科技综合与交叉发展的趋势。全书包括20个单元,前18个单元内容涉及化工领域各专业共同的生产技术、基本原理和规律,即化工基本单元操作,化工基础原材料,化工生产设计、控制与管理,化工产品和过程的研究与开发,化工装置的设计等,这些内容是化工各专业之间求同存异的基础。同时根据各专业的特点,分别以独立的单元较详细地介绍了化学工程、有机化工、工业催化、高分子化工、精细化工、工业电化学、绿色化工和生物化工专业相关的基础理论、生产技术和最新发展。本书最后两个单元分别介绍了科技英语的行文习惯、语言特点和构词规律,以及英文科技摘要的写作方法。每单元的内容都分为两部分:精读部分和泛读部分。精读部分作为基本要求,是课堂讲解的重点;泛读部分为学生提供了更大的阅读空间,以满足学生个性发展需要,也可作为教学考核内容。书中附录包括数学符号表、化学名词中常用的数目词头表、有机化合物常用词尾表、常用有机基名表和化学元素表。
