Created for an exhibition and performance held at the Castello de Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, Rivoli-Torino, Italy and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Germany in 2003-2004, this catalogue chronicles a decade of performance art by Beecroft with color photos of 52 performances. The performances involve groups of female models, often naked, and utilize tools of couture, such as makeup and high heels, in ways that dehumanize the figure and thus question notions of femininity.
