简介
故事出自《吕氏春秋•察今》。有个楚国人，坐船渡河时不慎把剑掉入河中，他在船上用刀刻下记号，说：“这是我的剑掉下去的地方。”当船停下时，他沿着记号跳入河中找剑，遍寻不获。A man from the state of Chu accidentally dropped his precious sword into the water while ferrying across a river. He duly made a notch at the side of the boat right where the sword went overboard. When the ferry docked, he hurried to the mark he had made, and dove into the river. To his great surprise, his sword was nowhere to be found.
