简介
Summary:
Publisher Summary 1
Integrating secured transactions, enforcement of judgments, and bankruptcy, this fourth edition text is updated with substantial reworking of the chapter on consumer bankruptcy, coverage of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, and inclusion of the Chrysler and Iridium cases. Other changes, as stated in the preface: "The Article 9 materials now include a British case raising issues of trustee duties in the context of multi-tiered investments....The enforcement of judgment materials add a recent judicial interpretation of New York's enforcement-of-judgment statute." New York and California debt collections laws are used as illustration, because these states represent contrasting treatment. Instructors may decide to replace this coverage with concentration on other states, but the notes and questions will remain useful. Eisenberg is affiliated with Cornell U.
