简介
“饭店英语”是中央广播电视大学开放教育英语专业专科(商务方向)的一门课程，适用对象为中央广播电视大学开放教育英语专业专科学生以及相关专业的高职学生和饭店从业人员。
李治红等编著的《饭店英语》包括12个单元，涵盖饭店直接为客户提供的各方面服务，其中第一至七单元为前台服务，第八单元、第九单元为客房服务，第十单元为餐饮服务，第十一单元为康乐服务，第十二单元为安全服务。全书以不同服务岗位的工作内容构成教学模块，以相同岗位的不同服务任务与服务技能组成教学单元，以具体服务任务和流程构成教学内容，以服务工作中的英语语言要求和实际操作注意事项为教学重难点。通过学习，力求在本课程结束时，学生能熟练掌握饭店服务流程、岗位职责等基础知识，掌握饭店服务术语和常用表达法，在服务过程中能熟练地运用英语进行沟通，并且英语流畅得体，具备职业英语语言能力和综合性饭店服务的应用能力。
