简介
《常识》是在美国独立战争期间，托马斯•潘恩发表的一本小册子，它是美国独立战争胜利的关键性著作，在当时几乎人手一份。它的出现，在当时人们的心中引起了巨大的变化。托马斯·潘恩公开提出了美国独立问题，并痛斥世袭君主制的罪恶，为整个人类迈向自由发出了呐喊，并对《独立宣言》的诞生产生了重大影响。
