简介
本书是当代著名语言学家 Chomsky 具有划时代意义的重要著作。作者通过对以往语言理论研究的检讨式探索，逐步修正此前提出的生成语法理论；以解释语言的简洁、经济、对称等作为研究的兴趣点，力求阐释他坚信的语言“完美体系”；同时从生物语言学角度对内在语言的属性进行研究，强调运算的经济性。
