　　大学听说教程共六册，每册配有教师用书以及相应的音带。《普通高等教育“十五”国家级规划教材·教育部推荐使用大学外语类教材：全新版大学英语（听说教程教师用书2）》是第二册，内有十六个单元，每单元由四部分组成。　　听力技能训练：该部分旨在培养学生掌握重要听力技能，帮助他们从整体上理解文章，获得重要信息。　　听说训练：该部分编有一篇听力材料，着重语篇训练，旨在培训学生听说能力。内含三个练习：1、围绕课文话题，启发学生开口，为下一步听说练习热身。2、培养学生整体理解以及摄取特定信息的能力；让学生能正确正确领会课文的主要思想及作者的思想感情。3、重点培养学生口头交际能力，提供Expressing Hope，Giving Compliments，Expressing Possibility and Certaingty，Expressing Surprise等交际功能的语言素材以及二至三个与课文主题以及交际功能紧密结合的样板对话，要求学生根据设定的情景，以参考样板对话进行口语活动。　　Part C Additional Listening 课末听力　　配有与主题有关的对话或短文以及练习。　　Part D Home Listening课外听力　　提供一篇课外听力材料。逢双课增加一篇与综全教程有关单元主题类同的材料。　　为了增加教程的趣味性，逢单课编写Leisure Time（轻松一刻），内含歌曲、幽默或名人名言等。　　此书，收末配有两套综合试题，用来测试学生的呼力水平。　　教师用书除提供原文和练习答案外，还编有：　　1、练习设计目的。　　2、教学步骤介绍（供参考）　　3、语言及文化背景注释介绍。
