简介
本书是作者近年来研究法治问题的心得。本书分别研究或描述了法治问题的历史、价值、技术制度层次的内容，并在此基础上又对法治观念加以反思。本书分五编。第一编主要叙述西方法治观念的历史和内容。第二编说明法治的价值。作者既说明了法治社会中法治的价值，而且还专门讨论了法官职业伦理问题。第三编讨论了与法治问题有关的某些技术与制度，其中包括法律推理、法治与陪审制度，以及三份判决书的比较等。第四编反思法治观念。第五编包括两篇附录，它们都与自由主义权利观念有关。作者不仅在书中介绍了国外学者对于法治问题的反思，而且还提出了自己的命题。本书不仅适合法律实务部门的人员阅读，而且也适合大专院校、科研单位中从事法学研究的教师、研究人员和学生阅读。
