简介
Psychology as a normative science a cultural or folk psychology, in the original formulation of Wilhelm Wundt has generally lost out to the causal model, concerned with performance capacity, pushed by most traditional schools. Harr (philosophy of science, Oxford U., UK) and Moghaddam (psychology, U. of Pennsylvania, US) champion this relatively neglected "second psychology" that places emphasis on the dynamics of social action or the interaction between self and others, in their presentation of these 18 papers. The papers describe recent theoretical work of normative psychology and address the self and other individuals, the self and social groups, and the self and contexts.
