简介
此教程是一套完整和清晰的五级英语教程，供把英语作为外国语的成人学习。为什么书名叫做True Colors呢？有两个原因：它提供了美国英语的地道语音，系统地教授学生运用自己的语言进行交流——让学生自行展示真我风采！学生用书由10个单元构成，第5单元和第10单元后分别有一个复习单元。教师用书是采用在逐页全彩学生用书的书页之间添加教师指导插页，包括对学生用书当页内容和学习方法的介绍；教学活页包括待填空白对话的图片故事活页；用于组织学生复习巩固词语、语法、交际语言的教学。练习用书包含大量的练习，为学生提供机会巩固课堂上所学的内容。听力磁带或听力光盘听力磁带或听力光盘包含词汇、对话和可录练习的全部录音。测试为学生提供单元测试、期中测试和期末测试机会。录像带包含各单元的对话、交际用语和语法，视觉化的词汇表达激活了词汇的应用，而简短的个人街头采访帮助学生在他们可接受或稍高一些的程度上领略真实的语言。
