简介
Two dozen articles by UK contributors (except for two) discuss the impact of roads on wildlife and support policies such as the British Biodiversity Action Plan (1994), which take ecological factors and public opinion into greater account in building roads. Sherwood is with the Linnean Society, which sponsored a symposium in 1998 at which versions of these papers were presented. Lacks an index. Distributed in the US by World Scientific. Annotation c.
