简介
本英语专业研究生教学用书，旨在将翻译理论、实践与评析有机结合，以中西翻译理论为指导，以英汉对比研究为依托，在翻译实践的基础上为翻译评析提供多层视角、多层维度，使翻译理论联系实际，使翻译实践与评析能力互补相长。现有的教材著作由于侧重面不同，一般内容分为三类：翻译理论类；翻译理论与实践类；翻译评析类。本教学用书特色是运用理论，在翻译实践的基础上参与评析。
全书共分五章。第一章：翻译理论：第二章：翻译方法论；第三章：翻译批评论；第四章：英汉翻译实践与评析；第五章：汉英翻译实践与评析。前三章为理论部分，各章节以“思考题”和“导读”形式出现，“导读”中提供主要参考文献与研究内容。后两章为实践与评析部分，分别根据英汉翻译和汉英翻译的特点编写，所提供的一种或多种译文供比较与评析用。
