The third edition of this spiral wire-bound reference for students and professionals has been expanded to include new sections on distinctions often ignored between similar words, language lapses, and common grammatical mistakes. The guide provides simple explanations, practice examples, and suggestions for the most commonly encountered writing and editing problems. The first four chapters offer ways to improve writing immediately, and later sections cover building sentences and punctuation.
